Dr. Julius Torelli, MD
The Healing Power of Gratitude
Julius Torelli is originally from south Florida. He attended the University of Miami and medical school at the University of South Florida. He served his residency and cardiovascular fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic and is board certified in Cardiology as well as Internal Medicine.
He established the Integrative Cardiology Center in 1999, which brought together western medicine with Chinese medicine, acupuncture, naturopathic medicine, massage therapy, counseling yoga and tai chi. He developed a program in personal awareness focusing on introspection and personal responsibility founded on healing shame and self tolerance.
He created and recorded a gratitude exercise for cancer patients receiving chemotherapy. The recording is currently available on most online music sites including iTunes and Amazon.com. He is currently working on a series of gratitude exercises for general use. He is the author of Beyond Cholesterol: 7 Life-Saving Heart Disease Tests That Your Doctor May Not Give You, and was the senior editor for The Inflammation-Free Diet Plan written by Monica Reinagel.
