This team serves the adults in our church by teaching, co-teaching or assistant teaching classes and by facilitating discussion groups. A good grounding in Unity Principles is important and some experience in teaching adults is a real plus. Training will be provided.
For more information contact Adult Education Coordinator Charlotte LeHecka (firstname.lastname@example.org)
Benevolence & Care Team
This team is forming now to work along side our Prayer Chaplains! Members will visit the sick or homebound, take gifts of food and healing energy to those in need or in grief, provide rides when needed, etc. In other words, help when a helping hand is needed.
For more information, contact Kathy Henderson at Khenderson30@nc.rr.com
Hospitality is a core value at Unity in Greensboro. Three-quarters of our congregation stays for fellowship after services. This team buys, serves food and beverages for Sunday hospitality and restores the kitchen to order after fellowship. If you sign up for this team, you would be asked to serve every four to six weeks.

The spirit of welcome, openness and inclusiveness is another of our core values at Unity. This team meets and greets the congregation on Sunday, passes out bulletins and information packets to newcomers, takes up the offering and restores the sanctuary to order after service. Ushers serve approximately once a month.
To serve as an usher, contact Team Leader, Trudy Tobias at firstname.lastname@example.org
This team serves youth from nursery through teenage. Members will serve under the guidance of the Youth Ed Director, Deana DeHart. Possible areas of service include teaching assistance, special projects, driving and supervising on field trips, holiday parties, healthy snacks, etc. There is no more rewarding service in the church than helping kids understand Unity Principles through curricula, cooperative activities, play and service projects. Curricula is designed for creativity and includes drama, song, art, dance, nature, relationship building, meditation and prayer.
